UNIONISTS

The only true threat to the Hegemon are human populations that believe themselves exploited by the Hegemon. These individuals are disregarded by the majority of society and called radicals, malcontents and borderline manic with ‘cognito viruses’ that have blinded them with fanciful notions that run counter to the desire for financial prosperity.

The Corpos will tolerate only so much hindrance to commerce and, often, confrontation is inevitable.

Behind some of these movements a more insipid threat looms. The Catraethi Remnant, thought defeated at the dawn of the Hegemon’s creation, manipulates protests into rebellion, hoping to bring about the downfall of the Thousand Empires.

Labor Revolts

Labor revolts are as varied as the colonies of the Hegemon and have as many reasons to rise up against their benefactors as there are stars in the galaxy. MacroCorporations can overstep their mandates or struggle to maintain the equilibrium of the nations they operate within. The results are very often violent, which of course, is merely another opportunity.

Catraethi Remnant

Those War Monks that survived the destruction of their throneworld and the kidnapping of their messianic empress by the Barakan Elite have only one reason to still live; to kill the Hegemon. Utilizing ancient secrets and powerful weapons, the Remnant helps organize and make Unionist uprisings more lethal.
